Devry University Growing Into A Large School

In July of 2006 I made the three hour drive to Columbus, Ohio to begin attending DeVry University on Alum Creek Drive. I was notified within my first day of attending classes that we would be hearing a lot of banging and sawing as they school was preparing to add a nursing program, my first thought was wait isn’t this a technical school. I brought my examine to my professors attention and he said, we are a business school too and we want to offer something for everyone. I belief to myself, well this is going to be interesting.

So as my first semester comes to a close and I watch the renovations take place I begin to get excited knowing that DeVry, that was once called DeVry Technical School is now known as DeVry University and that is unprejudiced great. Within the United States DeVry has campuses in 23 different states and one in Canada. Students can also do classes online. The school is so versatile and adding a nursing program just adds to the versatility. It’s amazing that a school that was once just a technical schol and added Keller Graduate School of Management and now will add a nursing program.. what will they add next?  

Some of the campuses are rather small, such as the Rockside Road campus in Cleveland and some, such as the Alum Creek campus, are relatively large. The building has a large computer lab where there are almost always students doing work and hanging out. Classes can be taken in the early morning and into the late night. It’s just extraordinary how the school has fair exploded into such a broad and amazing station.
